Fear

July 10, 1946

The fear of the beastie arose throughout the days… Hope of being rescued was being doubt due to the lack of unity of the group, and this made the littluns insecure. I tried my best to give them my support, and help Ralph keep calm; but Jack put up an obstacle trying to intimidate the poor young ones. Hunting was being put up before than the fire by Jack, and he ignored Ralph's attempt to be rescued, and we suffered the consequences: a boat that could've seen us didn't because we didn't keep up the fire. I know they wouldn't listen to me… So I went and help collect fruits for the littluns, at least trying to help them in some way…
